Grooms, groomsmen (and the brides who love them)—let’s have some real talk about rentals. At Bridal Traditions, we want you to look sharp and feel confident, but we also want you to know what to expect when you rent a suit or tux. The process is simple, but there are a few key rules that will save you (and us) some stress. When Your Suit or Tux Arrives Your rental will arrive 2–3 days before your event. Yes, just a couple of days before—not weeks in advance. Why? Because these garments are part of a carefully managed system. They’re constantly being shipped, worn, cleaned, and prepped for the next event. You get your rental when it’s your turn, and after your event, it goes right back into circulation. That means:
Alterations to Rentals: Nope! When you rent from us, we’ll take your measurements and order the closest, most flattering fit available. Modern rentals offer a wide range of cuts and sizes, so chances are you’ll look and feel great. But remember—rented garments are not yours to alter. No taking in the jacket, no hemming the pants at your local tailor. If you make permanent adjustments, you’ll be responsible for purchasing the suit. The only exceptions? Small, temporary tweaks like pant or sleeve hems, which we can handle for you in-house. Here’s what you need to know about rentals:
We get it—renting isn’t for everyone. If you’d rather invest in your own suit or tux, we can walk you through that option too. The important thing is that you feel confident and comfortable on the big day.
At Bridal Traditions, we’re here to make the process as stress-free as possible—whether you rent or buy. When it comes to wedding wear, we’ve got you covered. We are looking ahead to Winter weddings in 2026, and if the prognosticators are correct, then they are going to feel like cozy affairs, cinematic events or simply romantic, as brides and grooms embrace "the most wonderful time of the year" to get married! Winter weddings re-envision romance in the context of the season, with fresh silhouettes and sweet details. Winter Wedding Bridal INspirationOn the runways and in bridal collections this year, brides are balancing timeless textures—think reimagined lace, damask and soft Chantilly—with modern statements like bubble hemlines, bows, and architectural boning. At Bridal Traditions, we carry gowns that say "Ice Princess" or "Winter Queen" with beading and shimmer, but without the chilly cartoon vibe the names imply. For the cold months, we encourage dramatic coats, capes, and detachable sleeves that let a bride move seamlessly from ceremony warmth to reception ease without losing style. Accessories Complete The Bridal LookAccessories are also doing some of the heavy lifting. Veils have graduated from tradition to wearable art, often personalized with embroidery, pearls, or metallic thread that catches candlelight. Headpieces, oversized bows, bridal gloves and chokers add couture drama, while detachable elements—sleeves and gloves included—mean that brides can create one dress, or even two (or three) distinct looks. Jewelry trends favor sentimental, personalized pieces that photograph beautifully next to textured fabrics and layered gowns. If you choose a romantic gown in satin or damask, but still want an eye-catching feature, think about gloves, detachable sleeves and certainly some sparkle on a veil or gorgeous pearl or beaded hair ornament. Winter Wedding Venue TrendsVenue choices and themes are all about mood. Indoor spaces win for winter thanks to cinematic lighting, fireplaces, and layered textiles that create an intimate atmosphere. This is especially true for those winter weddings that are also holiday affairs. Christmas and New Years make fantastic wedding days. Curated outdoor micro-weddings (heated lounges, fire pits, and sculptural canopies) are stealing headlines for couples who want dramatic photos and an unforgettable guest experience. No matter the setting, personalization is popular, as couples rewrite the timeline, designing immersive entertainment, or choosing details that tell their story rather than following a template. We say, "get creative" with your day. The non-June wedding can be more memorable for guests who admire that you did the day your way! Small, but modern touches are simple but intentional for 2026 wedding, winter or otherwise: embroidered vows on a veil or napkins, an audio guestbook station, a signature scent in arrival areas, or warm, lounge-style cocktail zones that encourage conversation. For brides planning a winter 2026 celebration, the magic comes from mixing heirloom textures with bold, personalized flourishes: keep things cozy, add one dramatic statement (a veil, a coat, a bow), and let the little details sing.
Bridal Traditions & A National Park WeddingWhen you picture a breathtaking destination wedding, Glacier National Park might just take the cake—and for Morgan and Dakota Whittington, it was the perfect place to say “I do.” On July 7, 2025, surrounded by mountains, wildflowers, and wide-open skies, they began their marriage with a sense of awe that matched their setting. Morgan and Dakota’s story began in Durham, NC, where he was working as a Lineman and she was attending NC State. Once they fell for each other and became engaged, their journey led them to plan a wedding in Glacier. Morgan shared that one of her favorite moments of the entire day unfolded during a drive: “We drove Going-to-the-Sun Road up to Logan’s Pass to get pictures and saw a grizzly and her cub walking up the road on the way back down. They passed our car in the opposite lane so we got to see them super close!” It was a once-in-a-lifetime wedding memory—equal parts thrill and wonder. A Gown Fit for Glacier National ParkWhen it came to choosing her gown, Morgan’s vision took an unexpected (and beautiful) turn. It happens, ya'll! “I did something completely different,” she shared. “I had originally picked out a tulle dress with ruffle layers at the bottom—it was the first dress I tried on and I was set on it until I tried on my dress from Bridal Traditions. I LOVE the floral design in the overlay and the big puffy sleeves!” The gown, paired with a veil also from BT, was the perfect reflection of her romantic and slightly whimsical style. At Bridal Traditions, we love seeing destination weddings come to life—especially those that combine a sense of adventure with heartfelt connection. Morgan and Dakota’s Glacier National Park wedding was exactly that: epic scenery, intimate moments, and memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations, you two, and thank you for letting BT be part of your unforgettable day!
We want to thank West Wedding Co. for the stunning photos. Cadence and now-husband Skyler’s love story began when they were just twelve and thirteen, meeting through Skyler’s cousin and crossing paths again and again until they realized they were going to be an "us." Years later, that long, winding connection led them to an engagement and wedding at the lovely The Emerald Hill, where they exchanged vows on a beautiful September day in 2025. The venue’s lush, serene grounds made the perfect backdrop for their romantic first look by the spring—a quiet moment for just the two of them before the celebration began. Cadence’s gown from Bridal Traditions was the picture of modern romance: a stunning lace design with delicate straps and a subtly sheer skirt that caught the light beautifully outdoors. The flowing train added just the right amount of drama, and her veil—also chosen from Bridal Traditions—completed the look with timeless grace Surrounded by natural beauty and joy, Cadence and Skyler’s day could only be the perfect kick off to happily ever after.
