Bridal Traditions & A National Park WeddingWhen you picture a breathtaking destination wedding, Glacier National Park might just take the cake—and for Morgan and Dakota Whittington, it was the perfect place to say “I do.” On July 7, 2025, surrounded by mountains, wildflowers, and wide-open skies, they began their marriage with a sense of awe that matched their setting. Morgan and Dakota’s story began in Durham, NC, where he was working as a Lineman and she was attending NC State. Once they fell for each other and became engaged, their journey led them to plan a wedding in Glacier. Morgan shared that one of her favorite moments of the entire day unfolded during a drive: “We drove Going-to-the-Sun Road up to Logan’s Pass to get pictures and saw a grizzly and her cub walking up the road on the way back down. They passed our car in the opposite lane so we got to see them super close!” It was a once-in-a-lifetime wedding memory—equal parts thrill and wonder. A Gown Fit for Glacier National ParkWhen it came to choosing her gown, Morgan’s vision took an unexpected (and beautiful) turn. It happens, ya'll! “I did something completely different,” she shared. “I had originally picked out a tulle dress with ruffle layers at the bottom—it was the first dress I tried on and I was set on it until I tried on my dress from Bridal Traditions. I LOVE the floral design in the overlay and the big puffy sleeves!” The gown, paired with a veil also from BT, was the perfect reflection of her romantic and slightly whimsical style. At Bridal Traditions, we love seeing destination weddings come to life—especially those that combine a sense of adventure with heartfelt connection. Morgan and Dakota’s Glacier National Park wedding was exactly that: epic scenery, intimate moments, and memories that will last a lifetime. Congratulations, you two, and thank you for letting BT be part of your unforgettable day!
