Walking OutThe origins of prom come from the word promenade, or to walk out in public. In time, it was associated with young couple going out together and girls being of age to receive boys in polite society. The debutante balls and other elements ebb and flow based on the times and regional shifts, but prom - as we American kids know it - is a mid-Spring ritual. It's a cultural marker. It's a party! Time to get dressed and go out! Bridal Traditions is ready for Prom 2022 and we have styles for both guys and girls. Suits and tuxes for the guys are available for purchase and to rent. The sooner you plan, the sooner you can have yours ready to go. It is March already, by the way. For the girls, the designs are luxurious, modern and cool. Gemstones and jewel tones, shimmer and shine, with cut outs and deep Vs, there are plenty from which to choose, ladies! On average Bridal Traditions has approximately 100-125 prom dresses in-stock, in sizes 00-24. Prices range from $10 for closeout dresses to $498 for new styles.
We sell off-the-rack only, so shop early for the best selection! Fitting room reservations are recommended for Saturday shopping. To see more, follow our social media and visit our prom page. Get excited and come see us! 2022 may very well be one of the busiest years for those of us in the wedding industry. Wedding postponements, cancellations, venue swaps, vaccination hurdles, and frustration all met with reckless optimism, and that is to be celebrated. Reckless optimism for the win! 2022 is going to be THE MAKE UP YEAR! The coming months are the most popular months for weddings, so here's what the experts are sharing about what is IN for spring weddings! Themed WeddingsThese are not only still very much "IN," they are even more popular. There's nothing wrong with traditional services, but themes like Old Hollywood, Carnivale/Mardi Gras, Disco, Garden Parties, Star Wars or Bridgerton are now seeing their debut. Textural DetailsWhile gold has been the standard bearer, silver speaks of an older, more medieval time ... as if you're in Old Europe and everything is imbued with fairytale magic. Couples are including more silver and platinum in their decor and using it with style. Rose and white gold are still in the mix, as well. Themed wallpaper and themed walls are also a hit for the ceremony and the reception. These provide a lovely backdrop for capturing photos of the couple and their guests. If you have a style that you're trying to match - from Art Nouveau to Living Wall - consider a themed wall. Virtual Save-the-Date & DetailsPeople need to be kept up to date and the traditional cards, save the dates and extras are still great. But these days, brides and grooms create websites and social media sites, hashtags and eblasts for their weddings. Consider keeping your attendants in a text thread, creating an account for your helpers and vendors, and then sending out any last minute changes to guests via electronic communications. It's in real time and can save you - and your guests - big time confusion and headaches. These bits of communication also let everyone in on the excitement as you build toward the big day. Hanging Florals & Twinkle LightsWhat else is there to say?! Twinkly lights and hanging florals are still IN. Make it a Weekend WeddingWe've been cooped up for 2 years. People want to see each other, so the long weekend wedding format is back in play. You don't have to burden everyone with the expense of getting to Bali for a destination wedding ......... although that would not be horrible. Consider choosing a spot that can accommodate your party and ceremony-- a resort town, a campground of fun tiny houses, a popular lake or park with cottages, or a hotel with great penthouse rooms and a spa nearby, and invite your guests to come on Thursday and leave late on Sunday. Everyone can indulge! We say this to brides and grooms who come to BT for their attire: KNOW THYSELF. Couples who know who they are and what they want will create the wedding day that makes THEM the happiest. Start there and you cannot go wrong!
And the verdict is in: our suit game is strong and yours should be too if you are a groom-to-be. BT has a variety of options, because not everyone wants to wear a tux, or buy a suit. Depending on your wedding day theme, the season, and your budget, grooms can look like they should when saying, "I Do." Rent or BuyWe carry 5 distinct styles of suits in our rent or buy category, ranging from $235 to under $500. Each member of your wedding party may either choose to rent or buy their designer suit in one of these styles. Purchase in Stock at BTMen may also purchase suits directly from us off the rack at BT. If your style is out of stock, we can also order online. These suits are priced at only $200 and will serve you well into the future. Consider it an investment! Special OrdersGrooms who choose to purchase a suit that is not one we stock, may special theirs through us. BT keeps store samples of suits that you may choose from and then we place the order. We ask that you plan ahead and allow up to 12 weeks for delivery. Costs of these suits run from approximately $240 - $280, with matching vests available for around $60-70.
