Grooms, groomsmen (and the brides who love them)—let’s have some real talk about rentals. At Bridal Traditions, we want you to look sharp and feel confident, but we also want you to know what to expect when you rent a suit or tux. The process is simple, but there are a few key rules that will save you (and us) some stress. When Your Suit or Tux Arrives Your rental will arrive 2–3 days before your event. Yes, just a couple of days before—not weeks in advance. Why? Because these garments are part of a carefully managed system. They’re constantly being shipped, worn, cleaned, and prepped for the next event. You get your rental when it’s your turn, and after your event, it goes right back into circulation. That means:
Alterations to Rentals: Nope! When you rent from us, we’ll take your measurements and order the closest, most flattering fit available. Modern rentals offer a wide range of cuts and sizes, so chances are you’ll look and feel great. But remember—rented garments are not yours to alter. No taking in the jacket, no hemming the pants at your local tailor. If you make permanent adjustments, you’ll be responsible for purchasing the suit. The only exceptions? Small, temporary tweaks like pant or sleeve hems, which we can handle for you in-house. Here’s what you need to know about rentals:
We get it—renting isn’t for everyone. If you’d rather invest in your own suit or tux, we can walk you through that option too. The important thing is that you feel confident and comfortable on the big day.
At Bridal Traditions, we’re here to make the process as stress-free as possible—whether you rent or buy. When it comes to wedding wear, we’ve got you covered.
